Job description: Job Description: The Center for Teaching, Learning and Mentoring (CTLM) is seeking to fill a part-time position (10 hours per week) to support the administration of CTLM projects.The Part-time Administrative Assistant will be an instrumental part of the growing CTLM team, and will contribute to a wide range of tasks including: providing administrative and organizational support for CTLM programs; collaborating with student, faculty, staff teams on the development of ideas, systems, and structure for the programs.
About the Center:
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Mentoring (CTLM) works to energize and amplify faculty, staff, and student efforts to support Arcadia's innovative pedagogies and adaptive strategies. The CTLM serves the needs of all members of the Arcadia community--faculty, staff, and student peer educators--who are responsible for delivering transformative learning experiences. The CTLM Faculty Director along with Faculty, Staff, and Student CTLM Fellows work to collaboratively lead teaching, learning, and mentoring discussions and innovations on campus, shape academic continuity processes and plans and plan innovative teaching, learning, and mentoring initiatives in the coming academic year. We seek candidates who bring a strong commitment to equity and anti-racism work, have strong administrative skills, and can work both independently and collaboratively between meetings to advance these projects. This is an on-site, in-person position, with opportunities for occasional remote work upon request.
Location: Glenside, Christiana, or Remote location
Responsibilities:
- Maintain calendar, shared drive, and room reservations
- Attend fellow and admin team meetings upon request; keep notes and track tasks in Asana
- Assist with maintaining records and annual reporting
- Create and administer feedback forms for programs and events
- Order catering and supplies as needed for Center events
- Assist with prep and follow up for Center events as needed
- Create flyers and other materials using Canva
- Order printing and check mailroom for packages
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Explicit and demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity in all of its forms and a willingness to actively engage in conversations regarding equity and inclusion
- Strong writing skills and communications instincts
- Attention to organization and detail
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and communicate effectively across various departments of the university
- Proficiency with using Google Suite, Asana (or any other project mgmt software)
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, flexibility, and cooperative spirit
