Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales, loans, and extensions, and performing various store duties. You'll work closely with our team to drive sales growth, build strong relationships with customers, and maintain a positive and respectful store environment. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Process sales, loans, and extensions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform opening and closing store duties, including counting cash, balancing the register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Work closely with our team to drive sales growth, build strong relationships with customers, and maintain a positive and respectful store environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to all arenaflex policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Customer service, cashier, or retail experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Adhere to all arenaflex policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics, a plus
  • Sales background, a plus
  • Bilingual, a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

  • Excel and explore opportunities to promote to the Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager) position
  • Follow the Career Path and apply for a Store Manager in Training position, which includes a 12-week training program to build the foundation to run your own store
