As a Retail Customer Service Representative II, you will play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction, order processing, and scheduling accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Jessup, MD, working in a hybrid model of three days onsite and two days remote.

Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Representative II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing order processing, and ensuring accurate scheduling. You will work closely with our team to analyze customer information, process orders, and handle permits and inspections. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner

  • Process complex orders and requests with 100% accuracy from intake to filing
  • Ensure the customer management system is updated accurately and efficiently
  • Clarify, diagnose, and resolve customer order issues in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments with homeowners and communicate order fulfillment process information to internal delivery partners
  • Create packets or other materials as required for sales fulfillment process
  • Handle permits and inspections, and prepare customer correspondence
  • Identify and implement ways to improve overall level of service
  • Communicate order fulfillment process information to internal delivery partners and provide customer/delivery partner feedback
  • Administer programs, such as the customer referral program
  • May train others in office and customer service processes
  • May create purchase orders, process payments, or process receipts

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2-4 years' work experience in order processing

  • Demonstrated word processing, spreadsheet, and general computer skills
  • Strong phone etiquette and verbal skills to facilitate problem resolution
  • Intermediate writing skills
  • Ability to determine customer needs and assist in resolving issues for assigned area

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or sales environment

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Familiarity with order processing and scheduling systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
