Job Summary
As an Administrative Data Entry Assistant, you'll play a critical role in supporting our claims professionals by providing administrative support, data entry, and communication services. This is a full-time position that requires working from our Heathrow, FL office Monday-Friday. Responsibilities
* Set up and maintain surety claims files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare initial responses to new surety bond claims by generating and mailing correspondence
- Calendaring important milestone dates for new claims and ensuring timely follow-up
- Serve as a primary point of contact for communications with claimants, bond principals, and other parties
- Maintain electronic claim files by scanning documents and classifying and saving them to our electronic claims system
- Handle confidential information professionally and consistently with arenaflex policies
- Collaborate with claims professionals to resolve issues and provide support as needed
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the claims team
Qualifications
* High School degree or equivalent (defined as 4 years of relevant experience)
- Dependable/punctual with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with MS Office software (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access) and ability to learn and follow company claims systems and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with lawyers, company employees, and external clients
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Authorization to work in the United States and no requirement for VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes
Essential Skills and Competencies
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Office software and ability to learn and follow company claims systems and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in an administrative or claims support role, preferably in the insurance or surety industry
- Knowledge of insurance and surety principles and practices
- Familiarity with electronic claims systems and procedures
- Certification in claims or insurance-related fields (e.g., CPCU, CIC)
