Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Administrative Support, you'll play a critical role in supporting our QIC DME team by performing various data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional administrative support. This is a remote opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from home and a competitive compensation package that includes a range of benefits and rewards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Enter accurate and complete data into computer programs, ensuring timely and efficient processing

  • Produce and maintain data reports, highlighting inconsistencies or issues that require management attention
  • Perform database queries to assist with analysis and report issues when necessary
  • Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with established procedures
  • Undertake special projects, providing periodic and consistent information to management for each phase of the assigned project
  • Perform audits of own work and/or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures
  • Assist in the processes required for medical case file creation and/or closing, including data entry and records management
  • Provide assistance with decision notification, including mailing decision letters to all parties and faxing the decision letter
  • Accurately update the Medicare Appeal system (MAS) and other databases
  • Demonstrate and maintain appropriate judgment with confidential information
  • Determine if work assignments need supervisor intervention
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience required
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Prior experience with Medicare Appeals and Systems preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen or have lived in the US for the last 5 years, working continuously for 3 years

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Access
  • Experience with Medicare Appeals and Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
