POSITION TITLE: Regional Director of Sales (RDOS)  REPORTS TO:  National Corporate Director of Sales

POSITION SUMMARY 

Join our team as a Regional Director of Sales, where you’ll be a crucial part of our growth strategy. We are looking for a proactive, results-driven individual to lead sales efforts across multiple properties. As the RDOS, you will work closely with the leadership team to exceed revenue goals, drive business development, and provide support to on-property sales teams to ensure success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead all revenue-generating activities across assigned properties, ensuring alignment with company objectives including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. 

  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability. 

  • Proactively drive new business development through prospecting, client engagement, and relationship management. 

  • Maintain and nurture client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction. 

  • Work closely with General Managers and property-level Sales Leaders to achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets. 

  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, including budgets and marketing plans, to monitor progress, drive engagement, and identify opportunities for growth within assigned properties. 

  • Represent the company at trade shows, chamber events, and other industry gatherings to promote brand awareness and generate leads. 

  • Conduct property visits and sales training sessions to support on-property teams, ensuring consistency in sales practices and strategies. 

  • Lead owner calls as needed, providing updates on sales performance and strategic initiatives. 

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM, ensuring all data is up-to-date and actionable. 

  • Oversee recruiting, training, and supervision of sales associates to meet hotel and ownership goals. 

  • Handle associate complaints and issues swiftly, ensuring compliance with company policies and promoting a positive work environment. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support overall sales goals. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed. 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Director of Sales or at least 1 year as a Regional Director of Sales. 

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a multi-property environment. 

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales reports and financial data. 

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
