SUMMARY: VSE Aviation is actively seeking a team-oriented Business Development and Strategy professional with substantial experience in the Aviation Industry. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative sales organization. A mix of strategic territory management to generate new business and consultative selling to targeted customer accounts to increase share of wallet. Manage their own schedule, prioritize prospects effectively, and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Success in this position leads to territory expansion opportunities and advancement within the sales organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of existing customers to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Lead, develop, and execute the key account growth strategy in coordination with VSE's core capabilities and Business Unit leadership.
  • Manage the development, maintenance, and update the pipeline in new areas of opportunity for the Business Area.
  • Organize and execute presentations of areas of opportunity and pipeline.
  • Conduct regular face-to- face meetings and deliver tailored presentations to demonstrate product value to prospective and existing customers.
  • Developing and presenting customized sales proposals to meet the specific needs of clients and reflect VSE capability.
  • Coordinate with Product line and Inside Sales/Customer Support on Proposal/Bid strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer accounts, and leads in the CRM system.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to ensure a unified approach to building the ONE VSE brand.
  • Providing feedback to enhance product and MRO offerings, competitiveness based on customer insights.
  • Conduct independent market research and analysis of new and existing customers to expand market share.
  • Ability to track and report on assigned territory/ core account sales performance and forecasts.
  • Preparing and report on customer meetings and engagements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
