About the position Activera Consulting is a Houston-based boutique firm specializing in digital transformations and data-driven strategy. We help clientsprimarily in Oil & Gas, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, & Construction), and Private Equity. We are nimble, innovative, and focused on turning complex strategies into measurable business outcomes. As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact consulting engagements across strategy, delivery excellence, and transformation service areas. You will work directly with clients and internal teams to plan, execute, and deliver solutions that solve complex business problems, drive measurable results, and strengthen client relationships. You will be expected to provide thought leadership, manage project work streams, and contribute to both client and internal initiatives with increasing autonomy and leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities • Lead and manage consulting engagements or work streams from planning through execution and delivery. • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs, define project scope, goals, and deliverables. • Develop and implement practical solutions that improve operations, efficiency, and business outcomes. • Translate complex data and insights into clear recommendations and reports. • Drive project plans, milestones, and deliverables while managing risks, issues, and dependencies. • Coordinate cross-functional team efforts and foster alignment toward common objectives. • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and client meetings to drive decision making. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic insight, industry best practices, and consultative guidance. • Support the development and refinement of business strategies, process improvements, change management plans, and governance frameworks. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing. • Build and maintain strong client relationships rooted in trust, responsiveness, and results. • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to client leadership and internal stakeholders. Requirements • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years of relevant consulting or professional services experience. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. • Proven ability to manage client projects and deliver high-quality results on schedule. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport. • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies (Power BI, SQL, Excel) a plus. • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and adapting to evolving client needs. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated ability to lead complex client engagements and multi-disciplinary teams. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, change management, or business transformation frameworks. • Experience in digital transformation, strategy consulting, or technology-enabled change. • Strong business acumen and ability to quickly grasp industry-specific challenges.
