We are recruiting a highly motivated and detailed-oriented colleague into the Risk-Based Talent, Performance, and Compensation Framework team. This role will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and oversight of the Company’s Talent, Performance, and Compensation Framework aligned with regulatory expectations including, but not limited to the OCC Heightened Standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial services risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and their application to HR practices to create the risk-based approach to talent, performance, and compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and evolution of risk-based performance management systems that effectively differentiate performance, identify and manage risk-taking behaviors.
  • Develop and establish a risk-based talent, performance, and compensation management policy for the Company including appropriate risk triggers from risk appetite, issue management, etc.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure risk outcomes are considered and integrated into HR compensation processes supported by robust governance and oversight.
  • Responsible for the execution and administration of risk-based talent, performance, and compensation programs.
  • Aggregate and report key risk outcomes to Executive Committee members and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related areas. Masters degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in risk management functions and domain knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Independent performer who can work effectively and efficiently to drive projects from start to completion based on set parameters and timelines in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, particularly in developing compelling presentations and structured governance material and articulating program framework.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across teams and organizations.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in risk management, reporting, governance, internal control, and project management in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Working proficiency in visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) or ServiceNow.
  • Proven record working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
