About arenaflex – Redefining Community Banking

At arenaflex we believe that banking is more than numbers—it’s about people, relationships, and the everyday moments that shape our communities. Our Rocky Fork branch serves as a trusted financial hub where neighbors come to achieve their goals, whether that’s saving for a first home, growing a small business, or simply managing day‑to‑day finances. As we continue to blend cutting‑edge digital tools with the personal touch of a local bank, we’re looking for a passionate Customer Experience Banker to join our team and help turn financial aspirations into reality.

Why This Role Matters

In the role of a Financial Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for walk‑in customers, guiding them through a seamless banking experience. Your expertise in deposit products, keen eye for opportunities, and dedication to exceptional service will directly influence customer satisfaction, retention, and the overall growth of arenaflex’s community presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service: Greet every visitor with a warm, professional attitude, actively listen to their needs, and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Educate on deposit and banking products: Explain checking, savings, money‑market, CD, and other consumer deposit options in clear, jargon‑free language.
  • Identify growth opportunities: Use a disciplined sales process to uncover cross‑selling possibilities, schedule follow‑up calls, and generate referrals from satisfied customers and local partners.
  • Maintain transaction accuracy: Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions efficiently while ensuring daily balance reconciliation.
  • Refer and deepen relationships: Connect customers with specialized arenaflex teams—loans, wealth management, business banking—to meet broader financial goals.
  • Uphold compliance and security: Follow all operational, risk, regulatory, and security policies to protect customer assets and data.
  • Contribute to team success: Share ideas, participate in branch meetings, and support colleagues in achieving collective targets.
  • Other duties as assigned: Adapt to evolving business needs and take on additional responsibilities that support branch performance.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum). A Bachelor’s degree is a strong plus.
  • At least 1 year of customer‑service experience, or equivalent experience gained through military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle cash and perform accurate transaction processing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
  • Commitment to a high standard of ethical conduct and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 1 + year of direct customer‑service experience in banking, financial services, or a goal‑driven retail environment.
  • Proficiency with mobile banking apps, online banking platforms, and digital payment technologies.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales or service targets.
  • Comfort with technology—ability to quickly learn arenaflex’s internal systems and tools.
  • Experience handling cash drawers, balancing end‑of‑day reports, and adhering to strict audit guidelines.

Core Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Genuine empathy and a desire to help customers achieve their financial objectives.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to recognize needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and close transactions without pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in transaction handling, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quick, effective resolution of issues ranging from account discrepancies to service complaints.
  • Team Collaboration: Willingness to share best practices, support peers, and contribute to a positive branch culture.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a hybrid work environment that blends in‑office presence with occasional remote tasks.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex is committed to the professional development of its team members. As a Customer Experience Banker, you will have access to:

  • Structured training programs covering advanced banking products, compliance, and digital banking tools.
  • Mentorship from senior bankers and branch managers focused on career progression.
  • Opportunities to transition into specialized roles such as Personal Banker, Business Relationship Manager, or Loan Officer.
  • Internal tuition‑reimbursement and certification support for industry‑recognized credentials (e.g., Certified Financial Services Counselor).

  • Hybrid Flexibility: While the role is primarily in‑branch, certain administrative tasks can be performed remotely, giving you the best of both worlds.
