Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled and committed Level 1 Chat Support Agent to join our remote team. As a Level 1 Chat Support Agent, you will play a critical role in assisting customers through live chat, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a positive support experience. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a desire to help others, with opportunities for growth into technical support.

Responsibilities

As a Level 1 Chat Support Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Helping customers with processing payments and billing issues, account access issues, modifying plans and add-ons, processing cancellations and refunds, updating account information, and questions about different pricing plans available to customers
  • Handling 2-3 concurrent live chats, providing timely and effective support to our customers
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide a positive support experience
  • Staying up-to-date with our products and services, as well as industry trends and best practices
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 3 years of level 1 chat support experience handling billing and account-related queries
  • Experience with help desk tools like Help Scout, Intercom, Freshdesk, or Zendesk
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience supporting customers using WordPress (nice to have)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • A proactive and can-do approach to work
  • A genuine passion for helping people solve their problems and caring about customer experience

Additional Information

This is a fully remote position with a standard 40-hour fixed-schedule work week. It's essential that you have a reliable internet connection as any downtime will significantly impact performance on live chat support. The exact work schedule depends on the client that you are assigned to, but is often an afternoon or night schedule, and so having flexibility when it comes to schedule is important.
