What You'll Do
As a Volunteer Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you'll play a crucial role in engaging viewers, facilitating meaningful discussions, and ensuring smooth communication during livestreamed sessions. Your responsibilities will include: ### Audience Engagement
- Welcome and energize the virtual audience during live sessions
- Monitor and interact with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat
- Share event updates, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment
### Live Session Moderation
- Host and moderate livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers
- Guide one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests
- Manage timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule
- Work with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues
### Community Building
- Foster a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included
- Help amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue
