DevOps Engineer, Optum Technology - Remote

  • from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cloud/On Prem Engineering aspects to Build and maintain the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes
  • Combines software development and IT operations practices which shorten the systems delivery life cycle and provide a continuous delivery platform
  • Improve communication and collaboration to enable rapid product development by serving as the liaison between the development and operations teams
  • Dev-Ops area complements the efficiencies of Agile software development methods by creating more stable operating environments, and continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Administration: I/O, network, procurement, governance
  • Experience with GIT Actions/Jenkins workflow
  • Experience with Ansible scripting templates
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
