Job Description: As a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a strategic role in shaping the quality engineering practices across our Equity Management SaaS platform. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks, drive quality initiatives, and mentor a team of engineers to ensure our software meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a customer-centric mindset. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure our solutions exceed expectations and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and maintain robust automated testing frameworks and infrastructure across multiple layers of the application stack Define and drive the overall quality strategy, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing Lead efforts to align automation coverage with development velocity and product risk profiles Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test conditions and acceptance criteria from user stories and requirements Oversee execution of test cases, defect tracking, and reporting of quality metrics Champion continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices to ensure rapid and reliable releases Design and execute performance, security, and accessibility testing strategies Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming Act as a quality advocate in customer-facing engagements, helping translate customer feedback into actionable improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation and enterprise SaaS applications 5+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, Curl, or Swagger 3+ years leading and coaching a team of QA engineers Advanced proficiency in C#, SQL, and modern test automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright) Proven experience with performance and load testing tools and methodologies Deep understanding of Agile SDLC, QA methodologies, and best practices Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerized environments Prior experience in the financial domain is a strong plus The salary range in United States of America for this position is 111,000.00 to 139,000.00 USD Annual. Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus.
