Job Responsibilities
As a Chat Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Moderating the chat on our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines
- Deleting messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:
+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotion + Harassment or bullying + Inappropriate content or links
- Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process
- Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruptions
- Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking necessary action
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years old
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with Discord and its features
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
