About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to address Generator Rentals and Generator Administration and Maintenance in our Terrific Grassland office. As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in growing our current area by prospecting key industry classifications for likely clients, utilizing existing connections from different business sectors, and becoming active in local business relationships to establish a network of contacts.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in growing the current area by prospecting key industry classifications for likely clients, utilizing existing connections from different business sectors, and becoming active in local business relationships to establish a network of contacts.
  • Prospecting and lead generation using various sources, including social media.
  • Working with divisional leaders and independently to identify new clients within existing large client bases.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients and acquiring references to new business verticals.
  • Continuously building and developing your network of potential clients and sellers to establish new opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience.
  • Past experience growing new business as well as developing existing records.
  • Past involvement in at least one of the following: construction industry, basic costco frameworks, service-related ventures, course, or regional sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and meet sales activity benchmarks as well as revenue objectives.
  • Past success in prospecting and lead generation using various sources, including social media.

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
