Key Responsibilities
As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for:
- Coaching and developing a team of Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
- Executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts
- Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
- Broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to SLED managed travel accounts
- Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
- Collaborating with fellow Leaders to drive business growth and innovation
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the travel industry
- Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing sales
- Excellent coaching and development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to execute on complex projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. (no current or future work authorization sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience working in the SLED managed travel industry
- Knowledge of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
- Experience with sales and account management
- Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with the ability to measure and evaluate business performance

As a remote work opportunity, this role will require occasional travel for training, meetings, and conferences. However, the majority of your working time will be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus.
