Job Summary

As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for investing in the future of our people, executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts, and coaching and developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. You'll work closely with our Business Department to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of our corporate travel programs and services. Key Responsibilities

* Invest in the future of arenaflex's people by executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts

  • Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to drive sales growth and increase awareness of our corporate travel offerings
  • Work closely with the Business Department to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of our corporate travel programs and services
  • Identify and hire trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry to join our sales organization
  • Onboard and train new hires to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
  • Collaborate with fellow Leaders in this space to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Travel to training sessions, meetings, and conferences as required to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and increasing awareness of corporate travel offerings
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team of Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Experience working in the managed travel industry, with a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and increase awareness of corporate travel offerings
  • Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to stay connected and productive with colleagues and customers
