Key Responsibilities

Apply scientific techniques to design, test, and scale effective, reliable frameworks, and models to improve the functionality of large data and predictive applications. Analyze, implement, and test algorithms and tools to solve data challenges and improve the quality and reliability of data. Develop applications according to requirements; design, code, test, deploy, and iterate on existing systems. Research and stay up-to-date on development methods and technologies. Effectively troubleshoot issues and obstacles as they arise. Collaborate with data scientists, application developers, product managers, and engineers to develop and maintain software for new and existing products.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have: A BS or MS degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or comparable quantitative fields, such as Engineering, Computer Science with a background in both time series and Machine Learning. Active involvement in developing and deploying predictive models. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain details of complex concepts to non-expert stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. Intermediate-level SQL skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: Experience with Amazon Web Services tools like Redshift, Snowflake, SageMaker, or other comparable platforms. Experience in translating vague customer requirements into clear problem definitions and communicating them effectively. Proficiency in Python, R, PySpark, Flash, Scala, Java, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Docker. Strong data visualization and data manipulation skills.
