Bilingual Consumer Care Specialist (Debt Collection Agent)

The role involves communicating with consumer representatives to address delinquent credit portfolios, requiring professionalism and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Applying polite and customer-service-focused communication that adheres to federal and state guidelines on every call
- Attempting to resolve account balances by engaging with consumers to determine the best possible arrangement
- Partnering with Team Lead and/or Operations Managers to solve unique and/or complex matters
- Working collectively and supporting each other to ensure top-of-the-line customer and quality service
Skills
- Customer service and/or call-center experience
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft software applications, the ability to multi-task across multiple applications, and navigate between multiple screens, etc
- Assertive, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adhere to a regulated and structured work environment, including reading scripts
- Customer-service-focused with sensitivity to individuals experiencing grief and loss
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual fluency in French and English required
