Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Omnichannel Delivery Chain Optimization

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced full stack data scientist to join our CENTROID Data Science team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a full stack data scientist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that involve developing, optimizing, and scaling models for the manufacturing environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize the omnichannel delivery chain strategy
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Designing and implementing experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of new solutions
  • Developing and maintaining complex data models and algorithms using machine learning and deep learning techniques
  • Working with large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and to develop predictive models
  • Communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborating with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A Ph.D. or M.S. in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics, with up to ten years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with optimization toolkits/libraries such as CPlex, Gurobi, XPressMP, or open-source solvers
  • Strong software development skills in languages such as Python, and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud technology, including GCP, Azure, Spark, Hive, and TensorFlow
  • A strong track record of peer-reviewed publications

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience with fixing tough stock/operations planning problems, and experience with stochastic discrete optimization problems using a variety of heuristics, integer programming models, and/or simulation-based approaches
  • Experience with advanced statistical modeling techniques, such as SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian inference, Graph models, NLP, Computer Vision, and Neural Networks
  • Experience with developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment
  • Experience with working with large datasets and developing predictive models
  • Experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
  • Experience with cloud technology, including GCP, Azure, Spark, Hive, and TensorFlow
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and machine learning concepts
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
