Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Contact Center Chat Support

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REMOTE CONTACT CENTER CHAT REPRESENTATIVE AT ARENAFLEX
As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in our members' lives. Here's a glimpse into what a typical day might look like:
- Efficiently and effectively answering member inquiries: You'll be the go-to person for resolving member issues and providing support through digital channels, including email, web and mobile messaging, chat, and text.
- Providing support for online membership applications: You'll ensure that online membership applications are completed and submitted in a timely manner, providing a seamless experience for our members.
- Discussing member needs on financial matters: You'll use multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels to discuss financial matters with our members, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Acting as a subject matter expert: You'll be the go-to expert for all online products and services, including Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat and Text Support.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of arenaflex's products and services: You'll stay up-to-date on the latest products and services offered by arenaflex, ensuring that you can provide expert advice and guidance to our members.
REMOTE CONTACT CENTER CHAT REPRESENTATIVE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent: You'll need a solid educational foundation to excel in this role.
- 1 year of experience in a customer service position: You'll have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Meet the requirements for our Telecommuting Program: You'll need to meet the requirements for our telecommuting program, which includes having a dedicated workspace, a secure and strong internet connection, and an environment free from loud noises or outside distractions.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with our members through various channels.
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills: You'll need to be able to resolve member issues and provide expert advice and guidance.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: You'll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.
OTHER THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS POSITION
* Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Travel: Travel is not necessary for this position.
- Telecommuting: Telecommuting is possible for this position once training is complete.
- Requirements: You'll need to have a dedicated workspace, a secure and strong internet connection, and an environment free from loud noises or outside distractions.
- Training: The first 60 days will be on-site for training at our Corporate Campus located at 2675 O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge.
