Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring timely payments, and providing exceptional customer service. If you're a team player with experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and a passion for data entry, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Keying in payments upon receipt of notification from the payroll department
  • Entering all adjustments needed to maintain proper customer balance
  • Checking printed edits to ensure payment batches balance, thereby ensuring proper credits to customer accounts
  • Confirming batches are logged, dated, and filed in the proper place and date order
  • Maintaining a complete and accurate computer-printed customer list
  • Keying changes in customer status, such as charge to cash, cash to charge, address change, and minor changes
  • Following up on cash receipt logs to ensure accuracy and distribution to the proper personnel
  • Checking to see that all keying is completed within 24 hours after receipt of all documents
  • Logging the A/R Daily Proof Book with totals from the A/R transaction ledger and routing collections
  • Entering data on the last working day prior to the end of the month to verify all data is entered and calculated on the statement
  • Performing and assisting in other duties as deemed necessary by the Credit Manager

Qualifications

To be successful as a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in an accounts payable or accounts receivable environment
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data entry software and systems

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Familiarity with credit management and collections
  • Certification in data entry or a related field

Compensation and Benefits
