Experienced Full Stack Systems Engineer – AWS SOC Engineering and Infrastructure Automation

A Day in the Life
As a Systems Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the overall health and performance of our service, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. You'll work closely with our internal clients to understand their operational challenges and develop innovative solutions to address them. Your expertise will be invaluable in architecting modern solutions for running a PACS in a large distributed environment. You'll automate routine tasks, allowing our team to be agile and efficient, and work closely with our partners to ensure seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain high-availability and high-security systems and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with internal clients to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing systems
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure continuous availability and support
- Work closely with our partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our services
- Develop and maintain metrics and reports to measure system performance and availability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in an related field or 5+ years of experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience with Windows Server
- 3+ years of experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- 2+ years of scripting experience (PowerShell preferred, Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
- Preferred qualifications include:
+ Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field + 5+ years of experience with Networking or exposure to primary principles and troubleshooting connectivity issues + 3+ years of experience with AWS Services + 3+ years of experience with a Physical Access Control system (Lenel, RedCloud, etc.) + 1+ years of experience with Linux system management and/or related development + Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, VPC, etc.) + Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues + Strong oral and written communication skills + Proven experience creating documentation for manufacturing systems + Experience in a 24/7 online environment
