The Role
We are seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure web and cloud applications. As a key member of our development team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure web and cloud applications
- Develop and maintain high-quality code using a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Design and implement data models, APIs, and microservices to support business requirements
- Work with cloud platforms, such as AWS, to design and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based applications
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, and containerization technologies, such as Docker
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* AWS Certification, such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- Experience with data quality tools, such as Great Expectations or Deequ
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or CircleCI
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
