Experienced Senior Data Analyst – Data Entry and Business Operations Support

Our Immediate to Purchaser group is responsible for administering the Hulu and Disney+ streaming services within arenaflex, bringing The Walt Disney Organization's iconic storytelling to life in new and exciting ways. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Supporter Tasks capability within the Data Analysis group, responsible for evaluating endorser adjustments across the Disney Streaming portfolio, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+.

Job Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to support continuous partner estimation for various business key drivers. You will work closely with our upstream data partners to ensure accurate delivery of membership change notifications (including cost increments, subscriber agreements, and new data being collected) by identifying which subscribers should receive our legally mandated warnings. This role will also involve identifying subscribers impacted by events requiring essential and lawful remediations. You will collaborate closely with incident management, Business Operations, and trade design to ensure the integrity of our subscriber adjustments and that clients receive discounts when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage data and record information requirements related to subscriber notification drives (including cost increments, subscriber agreements, and new data being collected) and incident remediation (ensuring that the right clients receive discounts when required).

• Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine precise subscribers for notification or potential remediation.
• Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress and potential roadblocks to business partners.
• Develop a solid understanding of subscriber adjustments and the technical framework underlying subscriber data.
• Manage project planning and timelines and oversee cross-functional delivery to ensure status for critical business events.
• Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of strong communication processes and functional playbooks.
• Collaborate with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering to contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents.

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of work experience creating in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline.

• 3+ years of scientific experience.
• Proven ability to convey technical or potentially logical ideas to a wide range of audiences.
• Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
• Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc.
• Strong relational skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree in a scientific field.

Good to Have Qualifications

* Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).

• Postgraduate education.
• Knowledge of Windstream.
