Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to Southwest Airlines' customers via phone, email, and chat. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to resolve inquiries, booking changes, cancellations, and other customer concerns
  • Troubleshooting customer issues with tickets, reservations, flight schedules, and travel preferences
  • Handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner while ensuring resolution
  • Processing and updating customer information and flight details accurately in company systems
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Southwest Airlines' policies, procedures, and promotional offers
  • Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery and efficient operations
  • Promoting and maintaining a positive company image by upholding Southwest Airlines' customer service standards

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a friendly, positive attitude
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred but not required)
  • Experience in customer service is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate digital communication platforms (email, chat, etc.)
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with Southwest Airlines' policies
