Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within our databases and filing systems, ensuring high-quality data integrity and accuracy.
  • Organizational and Administrative Tasks: Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, performing clerical tasks such as sorting, scanning, and archiving documents, and utilizing computer software, including Office applications, to manage data effectively.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generating reports using pivot tables and other tools to analyze data trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborating with team members to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies, and contributing to the development of improved data entry processes and systems.
  • Process Improvement: Assisting in the development of improved data entry processes and systems, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Quickbooks Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Quickbooks, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in using computer systems for data entry, including familiarity with databases, and basic math skills for verifying numerical data accuracy.
  • Clerical Experience: Experience with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and document management, and knowledge of Office applications, particularly Excel for creating pivot tables.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
