Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Inquiry and Suggestions Examination team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform our product suggestion guide and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, experience working with web-based business organizations, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and potential opportunities

• Plan and run A/B trials of our latest product suggestions algorithms
• Proactively monitor our product models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve
• Build new tools that enable us to be more efficient and productive
• Work closely and build effective relationships with our product, design, and AI partners
• Communicate key insights and suggestions to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science

• Strong experience with SQL (total capabilities, query development, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flash, etc.)
• Strong experience with Python and Python tools (Jupyter notebook, libraries, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.)
• Experience with trial planning (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business-driven decision making
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with web-based business organizations

• Experience with AI algorithms/methods (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and technical capabilities alongside critical thinking skills
