Flight Attendants must be highly adaptable, able to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts to support global flight operations. Candidates joining the Flight Attendant team will begin their journey with an intensive seven-week training program located at Delta's World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. This training covers safety protocols, customer service excellence, emergency procedures, and operational best practices. During training, participants receive a training wage, meals, and shared lodging if they do not live nearby. Upon successful completion, Flight Attendants are assigned to one of Delta's 19 bases across major hubs such as Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, and New York. Some positions are bilingual, requiring fluency in English and an additional language such as Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Korean, or Swedish. The role of a Delta Flight Attendant extends beyond standard customer service to becoming a critical safety officer onboard. Flight Attendants must consistently practice safety conscious behaviors, coordinate emergency procedures, and provide basic health care like CPR when necessary. They are responsible for preparing and serving meals and beverages, including alcohol, while accommodating passengers' diverse dietary needs and preferences. Handling unexpected changes with poise and problem-solving skills is essential to maintaining smooth and enjoyable travel experiences for passengers, even during disruptions such as delays and turbulence.   • Fluent in English
  • Able to complete seven consecutive weeks of training in Atlanta, GA

  • Capable of physical tasks such as lifting luggage
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be punctual and reliable
