Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview: A respected law firm based in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney with a focus on personal injury matters. Duties

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, from intake through trial

  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and evidentiary motions

  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis

  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings

  • Collaborate with legal teams to prepare compelling case strategies

  • Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to professional development initiatives

  • Ensure timely and compliant case management and document filing

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado

  • Prior experience handling personal injury or civil litigation cases

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently

  • Skilled in legal drafting, including pleadings, motions, and settlement documents

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy

  • Prior leadership or mentoring experience within a legal setting is advantageous

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required

Certifications

  • Must hold an active license to practice law in the State of Colorado
