An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Cleaner to join a leading Machine tool Manufacturer to take care of our facilities and play an important role in providing a clean environment in our offices and communal areas.

The role:

You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities to ensure all areas are neat and tidy and achieve the highest standards within our factory, including:

• Dust/wipe/wash wall surfaces, desks, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, doors and frames, interior windows and glass surfaces
• Sweep/mop/vacuum flooring dependent on surface (carpet, tiles, altro)
• Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks in reception and works area
• Clean communal office kitchen areas and works canteen
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste material to designated points
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
• Follow cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

• Demonstrate good communication skills

Experience in a commercial environment is preferred but not essential

Salary and benefits:

· £12.21 per hour

· 12-15 hours per week - flexible and negotiable between our opening hours

· 32 days holiday (inc. statutory holidays) pro-rated
