About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate (PT) to join our team. As a Sales Associate (PT), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, promoting our merchandise, and contributing to the overall success of our productions. Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Disney Brand Standards: Take a proactive role in upholding Disney's high standards of quality, service, and presentation in all aspects of your work.
  • Financial and Productivity Goals: Achieve agreed-upon financial and productivity targets through effective sales strategies, guest engagement, and teamwork.
  • Guest Service and Engagement: Welcome every guest with a smile, provide exceptional service, and create memorable experiences that exceed their expectations.
  • Merchandise Sales and Promotion: Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise, highlighting relevant offers and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage queues, process transactions efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals, provide timely and effective communication, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Comply with all Disney Theatrical Group policies, procedures, and administrative requirements to ensure a safe and professional working environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent Communication and Guest Service Skills: Provide exceptional service, engage with guests, and communicate effectively with a diverse audience.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to occasionally lift and carry boxes weighing up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, retail or service experience is preferred. Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.

Work Environment and Schedule

We are recruiting for Part-Time positions, with availability to work between 10-25 hours per week. Shifts typically range from 4-6 hours, with double shifts on days with matinee and evening performances. All staff are required to be available for evenings and weekends. We prioritize candidates who can work 2-3 of the following shifts:

  • Friday Delivery Shift: 1-5 PM
  • Saturday Matinee: Approximately 12-5:30 PM
  • Sunday Matinee: Approximately 11 AM-4:15 PM

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate for this role in New York is $17 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, including medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
