Remote Senior ReactJS Engineer

Scopic is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript, ReactJS, AWS) to join our remote team of innovators. • Design and build modern, responsive web applications using JavaScript and the ReactJS ecosystem

• Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code in line with best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Implement advanced front-end features including video/audio playback, WebSocket communication, state management, and security enhancements

• Leverage AWS services to create robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications

• Containerize applications using Docker to ensure consistency across environments

• Perform code reviews and support continuous improvement through feedback and knowledge sharing

• Troubleshoot bugs, resolve performance issues, and optimize for usability and efficiency

• Stay current with new trends and advancements in frontend development and cloud computing


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 7+ years of experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript and ReactJS

• Proven hands-on experience with AWS services and integrating cloud-based architectures

• Familiarity with consuming REST APIs and building secure, efficient communication layers

• Strong understanding of frontend security practices including JWT, XSS, and SQL injection prevention

• Experience working with Docker and container-based deployment workflows

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for writing high-quality, well-documented code

• Bonus: Experience with microservices and building highly scalable systems
