Job Summary

As a Remote Banking Support Representative, you'll be responsible for responding to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a 24/7 high-volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center operation. You'll provide information regarding our clients' products and services, perform transactions, and advise members of other products and services that may fit their needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide information regarding clients' products and services, demonstrating knowledge, active listening, multiple system adaptability, and engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service
  • Perform transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and/or other accounts
  • Advise members of other products and services that may fit their needs and provide opportunities for positive member interaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on product and service offerings, as well as industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or banking support role

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a contact center or banking environment

  • Knowledge of banking products and services, including savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and IRAs
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Experience working with multiple systems and software applications
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
