Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the optimal performance of our production equipment. As a Production Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the first-line supervision of mechanics and electricians, establishing maintenance methods, controls, and standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line efficiencies and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained to prevent downtime and optimize line efficiencies.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Create, plan, and execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Safety Management: Manage physical safety and evacuation plans, ensure working conditions are safe, and respond to daily calls related to manufacturing operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and standards, and collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to the appropriate channels for investigation and resolution.
  • Budget Management: Manage labor and OPEX budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate parts inventory to ensure that the team has the resources needed to perform their jobs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in project work and initiatives as assigned, and collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing equipment-related experience required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environments and high-speed production equipment.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in all MS Office applications.
