About the Role: Teaching English Online with Preply

We're seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate online English teachers to join our community of tutors. As a Preply English Tutor, you'll have the autonomy to set your schedule and hourly rate, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world, at a time that suits you. Your primary responsibility will be to teach English online to Preply students, creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment that caters to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, utilizing your own schedule and pricing structure
• Create personalized lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum to meet the diverse needs of your students
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars for ongoing training and professional development
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to support student learning and progress
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment, promoting student motivation and success

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
• A University degree or Certificate in English Language Teaching (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes, preferably online, with a proven track record of student success
• A high-speed internet connection and a suitable workspace for online teaching
• Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful, with a passion for teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with online language learning platforms or educational software
• A degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Knowledge of curriculum design and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
