Key Responsibilities

  • Design kitchens using 20/20 software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide superior customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Communicate project details, track orders, and follow up to meet customer needs and close sales effectively
  • Create interior spaces that reflect customers' needs and tastes, working closely with sales specialists and customers as needed
  • Monitor order status, communicate updates or issues with customers and Lowe's associates, and ensure timely completion of orders and projects
  • Serve as point of contact on all designs and/or installs within the department, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a Central Selling Kitchens Designer On-Site, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Up to 1 year of experience in a call center, office administrative, high-volume retail, service support, or similar work environment
  • 2 years of previous Kitchen/Bath experience, with a strong understanding of design principles and customer needs
  • 2 years of experience with CAD design or design using 20/20 software, with proficiency in creating detailed designs and specifications
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts, such as adding, subtracting, dividing, and knowledge of weights and measures
  • Understanding and respond appropriately to basic customer or employee inquiries, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • If required by state or local municipality, a salesperson license or the ability to pass the requisite licensing exam within 60 days of starting employment
