Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and driven Business Analyst to join our team in India. As a Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and outcomes by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing insights that inform business decisions. Your expertise in data analysis, business acumen, and communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain weekly/monthly dashboards for key performance metrics and related deep dives
• Automate data layouts and reports using SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute deep dives, test hypotheses, and measure the impact of ML/item changes on key metrics
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop insights that inform business decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive business growth and innovation

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, visualization, and reporting
• Experience working with large complex data sets, including data mining and analytics
• Strong business acumen, including understanding of business operations, processes, and systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Experience working with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar

Essential Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field
• Strong understanding of data analysis, business operations, and systems
• Experience working with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools
• Four-year college degree in a related field, such as business, computer science, or mathematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Python, R, or other programming languages
• Experience working with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Redshift or similar
• Experience working with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Experience working with machine learning algorithms and models
