Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead our data initiatives, focusing on the implementation of solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Gemini AI. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of GCP services and capabilities, along with experience in architecting and deploying data solutions. Proficiency in Python, APIs, and machine learning frameworks is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Google Cloud Platform Data Architect, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and implementation of large-scale data and analytics solutions utilizing GCP and Gemini AI
  • Developing and maintaining data architectures that meet business requirements and drive insights
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business needs and drive growth
  • Designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and others
  • Developing and maintaining data visualizations and APIs to expose data to end-users
  • Conducting data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of data flows
  • Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest GCP services and capabilities, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with large-scale data and analytics solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of GCP services and capabilities, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and others
  • Familiarity with Gemini AI and its applications in data solutions and machine learning
  • Experience with GCP deployment tools and CI/CD practices
  • Experience in preparing data for data science and machine learning purposes
  • Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of data flows
  • Experience with various database technologies, including relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with data visualization tools and APIs to expose data to end-users

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with data security and access control frameworks
