Airspace is hiring a Product Manager for Automation to shape how automation transforms the logistics industry from the inside out.

Job Description

As a Product Manager specializing in Automation, you’ll help design and deliver intelligent, scalable automation systems that improve operational efficiency and reduce human error in our time-critical logistics platform. Working across internal workflows, delivery coordination, and customer-facing processes, you will be at the center of building automation that enhances reliability and speed across healthcare and industrial sectors.

Your work will directly improve how Airspace moves life-saving organs, essential machinery, and high-value goods on time, every time—by enabling smarter, faster, and more autonomous operations.

What You’ll Do

Automate Core Logistics Workflows

  • Define the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for automation within our logistics platform.
  • Build and evolve decision engines, rule-based systems, and AI-driven workflows that reduce manual effort in time-critical scenarios.
  • Help eliminate repetitive tasks and human delays through intelligent logic, integrated systems, and real-time responses.

Improve Speed and Accuracy

  • Work with engineering, data science, and operations teams to deliver automation that increases delivery speed, operational accuracy, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with finance and billing teams to trigger workflow automation based on real-time shipment conditions

Partner with Stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with Healthcare and Industrial product teams to develop scalable automation systems that serve diverse customer needs.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Ops and Customer Experience to ensure your solutions are grounded in real-world pain points and opportunities.

Build with Data and Feedback

  • Use data to identify automation opportunities and measure impact through metrics and A/B testing.
  • Continuously refine tools based on user feedback, edge cases, and system performance.

Champion Automation Best Practices

  • Balance full automation with smart exception handling to ensure reliability and trust.
  • Contribute to our vision for human-in-the-loop automation, AI governance, and scalable platform intelligence.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of product management experience, ideally in logistics, operations tech, workflow automation, or SaaS.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to simplify complex workflows.
  • Passion for operational efficiency, problem solving, and fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative, data-informed, and comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with or exposure to workflow engines, automation platforms, or business rules systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field required. MBA is a plus.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary, $85,000-$130,000
