What is this role like?As a Media Planner at Toppie, you will be responsible for developing, pitching, and executing media plans that connect agencies and brands with high-performing retail media opportunities. This is a client-facing, commercially oriented role that combines strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution and relationship management.You will work closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure advertisers maximize ROI across Toppie’s ad placements.

 

You will:

  • Client Engagement – Build relationships with agencies and brands, acting as the main point of contact for media planning and campaign recommendations.
  • Media Planning – Develop tailored media strategies and proposals based on campaign objectives, target audiences, and performance goals.
  • Campaign Execution – Work with internal teams to launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across Toppie’s retail media inventory.
  • Insights & Reporting – Deliver clear campaign performance reports and actionable insights to clients, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Revenue Growth – Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving incremental ad spend from existing clients.
  • Market Knowledge – Stay updated on retail media, ad tech, and performance marketing trends to bring fresh ideas to clients and the team.
What (we think) you need to be successful – but we’re open to outliers too:

  • 2–4 years of experience in media planning, media buying, or digital advertising sales (agency, DSP, ad network, or retail media background preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising formats (display, sponsored listings, video, social, programmatic).
  • Client-facing experience with agencies and/or brands, with proven ability to pitch and win campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign data and optimize for performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (other languages are a plus).
  • Self-starter attitude: ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Being located in LATAM.
