Southern Home Services is rapidly growing, doubling in size over the last 12 months. Currently the company employs 1000+ employees and serves over 700,000 homeowners in twelve states across the South and Midwest United States. The Regional Vice President sets company objectives, develops business strategies, conduct business, and staff performance evaluations, report to and participate in board meetings as well as manage your respective Region. To ensure success as a Regional Vice President, you will need to have a detailed understanding of operations, corporate structures, and business strategy. Successfully manage and expand organizational objectives and deliver long-term performance gains. This position reports to the COO. The Regional Vice President’s Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily operations and performance for your Region.
  • Assessing, evaluating, and reporting on staff as well as key business indicators.
  • Strategizing and implementing operational and structural changes with other senior executives.
  • Providing oversight and support to the Region’s managers.
  • Researching and identifying new business ventures for the company.
  • The Regional Vice President performs regular analyses of business operations and enhancing current business practices.
  • Preparing, delivering, and presenting reports at key executive meetings.
  • Ensuring that spending and budgeting are in line with business objectives and relevant legislation.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing the region's HR policy and plan.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure company growth and stability.

Our Ideal Region Vice President Candidates Will Have:

  • A degree in business management, administration, or finance is desired
  • Experience in business to consumer home services sales is required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar progressive management role or position.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in negotiations, operational management, and implementation.
  • Decision-making, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • A superb understanding of corporate legislation and company guidelines
  • Ability to problem-solve and work in a team.
  • Extremely organized, punctual, and goal driven.
  • Industry experience is required.

The Physical Requirements Of This Job Include:

  • Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office
  • Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device.
  • Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
  • Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands Some positions may involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds; some positions may involve moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 70 pounds; standing up to eight hours each day; working in all weather conditions; exposure to high noise levels and require wearing hearing protection.
