Graduate Intern - Walmart Global Tech (Summer Intake)

Job Summary Walmart Global Tech is seeking highly motivated and innovative Graduate Interns to join our team for the Summer 2025 Internship Program. As a Graduate Intern, you will work on impactful projects that influence the future of global retail and eCommerce. You will be embedded within a collaborative, cross-functional team where you will contribute to solving complex business challenges using cutting-edge technologies. This program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, mentorship, and a deep understanding of the technology that powers the worlds largest retailer.

Key Responsibilities

• *

Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and designers to develop and deliver technology-driven solutions.

• *

Conduct research, gather insights, and present findings that drive decision-making for tech innovations.

• *

Develop and test prototypes, write clean code, and contribute to software development lifecycles (SDLC).

• *

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives as part of agile project work.

• *

Analyze and interpret large datasets to support machine learning or analytics-based initiatives.

• *

Present your work to senior leadership and receive constructive feedback to improve your technical and soft skills.

• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *

Currently enrolled in a Masters or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.

• *

Strong academic record and expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.

• *

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or Scala.

• *

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.

• *

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• *

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

• Experience
• *

Academic or practical experience in software development, data analysis, or product development.

• *

Previous internship experience in a tech or retail environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Participation in hackathons, open-source contributions, or relevant side projects is highly valued.

• Working Hours
• *

Full-time, 40 hours per week during the summer program (typically May–August).
