We are looking to add a new addition as a Full-Time Dispatch Coordinator to join our Chicago, IL team! The position will manage the timely dispatch, pick up, and delivery of every order ACI handles in all markets, while also focusing on our client's needs and ACI's industry leading standards for Customer Satisfaction. This position does require the ability to work out of our office in Chicago, IL and is not a remote position. Schedule: Thursday & Friday 4am – 12pm Saturday & Sunday 12am – 12pm Primary Responsibilities:

• Be a reliable and dependable employee who shows up to work on time and regularly, understanding the high level of responsibility and accountability demanded from our clients and from us as a company
• Field inbound customer requests, via phone, or email
• Operate dispatch software to ensure all routes & orders are properly assigned and contain the correct information for the delivery and billing processes
• Manage drivers to meet on-time requirements and efficiency levels - meet company minimum on-time performance levels of 98.5%
• Notify clients well in advance of potential late deliveries
• Data validation and manipulation in Excel
• Utilize dispatch software daily to transform shipment data into routes & orders
• Reach out to drivers and supervisors as needed to get delivery information
• Rotate on a holiday schedule to cover office hours and on-call
• Ensure contact phone numbers are input and maintained as well as proper accurate tags for all drivers & supervisors
• Be able to answer any small questions or concerns that drivers or supervisors have with their applications or systems involved in their tasks. Failing that, be able to get accurate information from them to pass along to supervisor and/or IT as needed
• Perform all normal and necessary warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, cycle counting, WMS data entry, stocking shelves, maintaining overall warehouse hygiene, and organization
• Identify issues that need to be escalated to supervisors and the dispatch teams
• Quote Courier, Box Truck, and Freight delivery services
• Clean workspace, office, and warehouse as required
• Perform all work accurately and timely
• Participate in a culture of continuous process improvement
• Make deliveries as needed
• Adhere to all ACI policies, such as breaks, PTO, dress code, etc
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Required Experience / Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• Has a high school diploma or higher
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Ability to work out of our office in Chicago, IL
• Strong PC skills required (above average) - Excel and Outlook a must.
• Ability to pass background and pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to work independently with ACI's standards for Customer Satisfaction as a guide.
• Organized, attentive to detail, self-starting, patient, curious, solid follow-through, communicative and multi-tasking.
• Highly motivated with a desire to be upwardly mobile.
