Minimum:$15.00/hour + Commission & Bonuses
Compensation
Maximum:$17.50/hour + Commission & Bonuses Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Eligible for $500.00 Sign On Bonus
- Average performers earn $50,000 - $60,000/year (based on performance*)
- Uncapped commission structure & end of year bonus
- Paid training & guaranteed commissions during training
- Agents working past 6pm, local time, are eligible for a shift premium
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are eligible for a bilingual premium
- *Average earnings are an estimation of base salary + commission of successfully performing agents and is not guaranteed.
Work hours for the position will be Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 1pm-10pm central time. This schedule will continue for 90 days or more post-hire, until the next scheduled shift bid.
What You'll Do
In this fully remote position, you will work from your home and will report to one of the Sales Team Supervisors. You will quote and sell insurance policy premiums to incoming sales prospects while providing excellent customer service to our customers. Responsibilities include:
- Quote and sell insurance products to new and current customer
- Advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to prospect circumstances and meeting the needs of the customer
- Run reports from various systems to verify accuracy of information provided by potential insured regarding insurance and driving history
- Explain coverage and payment options to the customer
- Responsible for outbound follow up on unsold internet leads which may have a likelihood of purchasing
- Service existing customer policies as required including policy changes when customer service is not available
- Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure policy underwriting adherence and improve retention
- Attend sales meetings, seminars or educational activities to stay current with market trends, regulations and maintain state licensing
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are You are P&C Licensed and a team player who excels at providing excellent customer service and can work with speed and accuracy. Education and Experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- 6 months retail sales and/or customer service experience
- Active Property and Casualty License Required
% Of Time Spent Traveling: 0 – 25% You will be fully remote/working from home.
