Senior Estimator - Water Infrastructure
Job Title: Senior Estimator - Water Infrastructure Job Location: Anywhere (Will open a satellite office in location of hired Senior Estimator) Salary: $100k - $250K (Very Flexible) Requirements: 10+ years of Water Infrastructure estimating experience. Work with Wastewater/Water treatment plants, pump stations, and water/sewage pipelines required. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team specializing in Water infrastructure projects. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and providing valuable insights to ensure successful project execution. This position requires a strong understanding of heavy civil construction, particularly in water treatment and wastewater management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, wastewater pipelines, and sewage systems.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather relevant information for accurate estimating.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Utilize estimating software, such as HCSS, to produce accurate bid proposals and reports.
- Review and analyze historical data to inform future estimates and project planning.
- Assist in the preparation of bid submissions and presentations to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in heavy civil construction, specifically in water infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater, and sewage systems.
- Familiarity with estimating software, particularly HCSS.
