Role Overview: CloudCPA is currently seeking a Remote Senior Accountant to join our team. This position involves management responsibilities and is a remote, cloud-based role open to candidates nationwide. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of accountants and overseeing their work and development
• Providing high-level accounting services to clients using Xero, QBO, and other cloud-based tools
• Preparing and delivering financial statements to clients
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Demonstrating expertise in GAAP and technical knowledge of accounting treatment for real estate, eCommerce, and restaurants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Previous management experience in an accounting environment
• Advanced proficiency with Xero accounting software
• Familiarity with Gusto payroll software
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations for different entity types
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA designation (preferred)
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Experience with additional cloud-based accounting and financial tools
• Understanding of small business operations and challenges
