Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Hospitality Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team remotely. This role focuses on coordinating and managing hospitality-related projects within the event management sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing event planning logistics, liaising with vendors and clients, and ensuring seamless execution of hospitality services across various events. This position offers a unique opportunity to work from home while contributing to high-profile hospitality projects with flexibility and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all phases of hospitality projects within event management, from initial planning through to execution and post-event evaluation.

Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on event objectives and deliverables.

Oversee vendor contracts, bookings, and service agreements related to catering, accommodations, transportation, and other hospitality services.

  • *

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

  • *

Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • *

Handle any on-the-spot issues or changes during events to ensure a smooth customer experience.

  • *

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects and events.

  • *

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support event promotion and client engagement efforts.

Ensure compliance with all hospitality and event industry standards, health, and safety regulations.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in hospitality coordination, event planning, or project management (preferably in a remote or hybrid work setting).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.

Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation is a plus.

Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Flexible working hours with core availability during business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
