Clinical Operations & Agency Administrator - Greensboro/Burlington, North Carolina

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-16

About the Role

This hybrid role combines clinical leadership, training, and regulatory oversight, offering a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals passionate about safety, care quality, and community impact. You’ll spend 30–40% of your time delivering in-person Care Pro training, conducting skill assessments, and completing annual in-home supervisory visits as required by state licensure. When not in the field, you’ll use your clinical expertise to provide virtual triage and support for safety escalations and client care plan reviews. Additionally, you will serve as the alternate agency administrator, supporting operational compliance and agency oversight. With flexibility to work remotely when not delivering in-person training or visits, this position offers a meaningful transition from traditional hospital settings into a mission-driven, innovative home care environment. About the Team You’ll join Honor’s Clinical Operations team, working closely with Care Pros, local franchise offices, and our broader Trust & Safety group. Our team ensures high-quality, safe, and consistent care for seniors while supporting Care Pros in their professional growth. We are collaborative, mission-driven, and deeply committed to setting the highest standards in home care. As a Clinical Operations & Agency Administrator at Honor, you will: Safety Monitoring & Incident Triage

  • Provide virtual escalations coverage 2–3 days per week, fostering a safe environment for clients and Care Pros.
  • Assess risks and triage incidents across multiple channels (phone, Slack), escalating to emergency services or higher-level interventions when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals in distress while supporting internal teams and franchise partners.
  • Manage multiple concurrent escalations with urgency, precision, and sound judgment.
  • Review and improve client care plans, identifying gaps and collaborating with field and agency partners.

Care Pro Training & Development

  • Deliver new hire and annual in-person training and skills assessments, as required by state licensure.
  • Conduct annual in-home supervisory visits and provide real-time feedback to Care Pros.
  • Lead periodic virtual and in-person upskilling sessions, ensuring Care Pros meet evolving client needs.
  • Support competency development and foster a culture of excellence in care delivery.

Compliance Oversight & Agency Operations

  • Ensure all required trainings, evaluations, and documentation meet state regulatory standards.
  • Serve as an alternate agency administrator, supporting local franchise offices.
  • Act as primary liaison during regulatory audits and maintain compliance across all activities.

We’re Looking for You to Bring: Competencies

  • Passion for training and preparing Care Pros to succeed in their caregiving careers.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver both encouragement and constructive feedback.
  • Composure under pressure and confidence in making high-stakes, time-sensitive decisions.
  • Critical decision-making skills, balancing urgency, safety, and long-term outcomes.
  • Flexibility and creativity in problem-solving, with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple escalations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Valid North Carolina Registered Nurse license.
  • At least 2 years of direct healthcare experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or administrative role (home health care preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred) or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in training, precepting, or evaluating care providers.
  • Background in elderly care (ALF, SNF, MCU, or hospice) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the Greensboro/Burlington market 3–4 days per week, with occasional evenings/weekends.
  • Flexibility to provide virtual escalations coverage, including some evenings and weekends (with advance notice).
